For a design to be embroidered onto a garment, a "sew-file" .dst must be created. This process is call digitizing. All Action embroidery quotes are based on the stitch count of the design. In addition to the cost of the embroidered logo, a one-time digitizing fee may be required. We will always let you know at the time of inquiry if the design requires digitizing and if there are any other type of charges to be expected. A general rule of thumb is if your design is custom, such as a corporate or a team logo, a digitizing fee will be required. Stock fonts for names do not require a digitizing fee.
